KARATE

Karate is a system of self defence and physical culture developed and refined in Okinawa and Japan. There are several styles of karate, they all use slightly different training methods and they all place varying degrees of emphasis on issues such as the speed, strength and range of techniques practised. Shotokan karate (our style) emphasises a balanced development of all these elements, taught within a system which instils confidence and self control.
